How to Fix Too-Short Bangs
Cutting bangs too short is a common*mistake. Whether you cut them yourself or a stylist messed up, you don't have to hide until they grow out. Although the look may not be as flattering as you would like, you can fix too-short bangs until your hair grows to the length you want.
Instructions
1. Pull some hair from farther back over top of the bangs. If the bangs aren't cut too far back and your style supports it, this can be an option. While you don't want a reverse comb-over, you can often get a little more hair length into your bangs.
2. Notch the ends of the bangs with scissors to make it look like you intended the look. Hold the scissors straight up and dnwn and snip a little notch into the bangs at various points.
3. Use wax, gel or other products to weight the hair down a little. You can twist the hair a little or brush it off to one side to minimize the shortness. Making it look like you intended the short bangs makes them less noticeable. You may also want to play around with different parts until the bangs grow out.
4. Blow-dry your bangs straight down from above. This can add a little bit of length, since your bangs will generally bounce up a little as they dry. You can also blow-dry or arrange your hair so that your bangs are swept off to the side, eliminating most of the bangs altogether for the time being.
5. Go to a stylist that you trust and ask for help. Often, a stylist will have ideas on how to fix bangs that have been cut too short.
6. Wait it out. Bangs grow an average of a 1/2 inch each month, so before long, your bangs will have the length you want. Use clips or other hair accessories until your bangs have grown back.
You can't get rid of bad bangs overnight. If your hairstylist cut your bangs too short on your last trip to the salon, or if you've simply decided to get rid of your bangs all together, you will need some time to allow your hair to grow out. While you're waiting for this to happen, use a hair clip to disguise your bangs by pushing them to the side and making it seem as if they're not there.
Things You'll Need
Things You'll Need
- Hair clip
- Hat
- Headband
- Hair spray
Instructions
- Create a dramatic side part with your hair and clip your bangs back under the part. Hide the clip under your hair and use hair spray to hold it in place. No one will be able to see that you have bangs, since they will be clipped to the side, and the clip will be hidden under your hair.
2. Hide the clip under a headband. Clip your bangs up to the top of your head and spray it with hair spray to keep it in place. Cover the clip with a headband.3. Wear a hat to cover the clip in your bangs. Clip your bangs back and put the hat on over the top of the clip. Check the mirror to make sure that the clip doesn't peek out from underneath the brim of the hat.
Bangs are your best friend and worst enemy; too short and they look like goofy, too long and they look shaggy. Pinning your bangs back every day is boring and tedious. Curling these problem-prone tresses buys you time between costly hair cutting appointments and lets you try out a new style. Curling your bangs isn't difficult but does require basic curling iron knowledge and an understanding of how to preserve your perfect curled bangs.
Things You'll Need
- Brush
- Mousse
- Hairdryer
- Small barrel curling iron
- Hairspray
Instructions
1. Massage a dime-sized amount of mousse into your wet bangs to help hold the future curl. Plug in the curling iron at this time and set it on a non-flammable surface away from your skin.2. Blow dry the bangs until they feel slightly damp, but not sopping wet. A small amount of moisture keeps the hair malleable.
3. Brush out the bangs to remove any tangles and separate them into three or four sections.
4. Clip the very bottom of the first bang section into the curling iron lengthwise and twist it left. Continue turning the handle until the tip of the curling iron is within two-inches of the scalp and stop.5. Lift the iron away from the face slightly to avoid burning the forehead or nose. Hold this position for 15 to 30 seconds, depending on the thickness of the hair, and release the curl.6. Repeat steps four and five on the other bang sections. Alternate between left and right for each section of bangs when rotating the curling iron. Varied curl direction creates a more natural appearance than uniform ringlets all facing one way.7. Unplug the curling iron immediately when finished to prevent accidental burning.8. Comb your bang-curls gently with your fingers for a tousled, natural affect and apply a quick spritz of hairspray to lock in the curls.
Beside that, you can try to clip your bans back:$0AClip your bangs back using a trendy hair clip or bobby pins. Use your imagination and think about dozens of other stylish possibilities to arrange your hair and bangs will be so much fun to play with.
Backcomb your bangs to add a little volume to your strands then pull the quiff up and back and secure to the hair underneath.
Another great way to jazz up your hair is to part your bangs into three equal sections, twisting them and clipping them back off your forehead. Use a touch of hairspray if you want it to last all day long. Ponytail is another popular variation on the same hairstyle.
Okeh guys !
That's all for this week
I hope this post can be important for us..
